Psalm Drummer missions
July 13th, 2009
Individuals and teams have been involved with missions work since our earliest days. Psalm Drummers have been using drums to connect with people and share the love of Jesus across the world with specific missions to USA, Czech Republic, Holland, Switzerland, Africa, India and at home in the UK. Many have been inspired and changed by God through Psalm Drummers.
We have come to see that Psalm Drummers have a ‘gate opening’ work, through which the ministry of the gospel can be accomplished. It is a strategic work as part of the Holy Spirit’s call to the body of Christ in these times. We have received repeated prophetic words about ‘gates’ and ‘open doors’ to confirm this.
“Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.” Psalm 24:7
Across the network there are friends that join together as volunteer teams to do street performances, prayer vigils (24/7 prayer), play at public events, visit prisons, join foreign missions and regularly work alongside the local church. We have seen great fruit from all these initiatives and are committed to our mission work.
Let us know if you would like to get involved: info@psalmdrummers.org
Releasing God’s presence at Stonehenge
July 13th, 2009
Releasing God’s presence at Stonehenge
Terl asked me to write something for the PD website about my recent experience of worshipping at Stonehenge along with a group of intercessors and worshippers from Bethel Church (in Redding, California – Bill & Beni Johnson’s church), so here’s a short account of what took place…
As part of the tour that I was on with Beni Johnson, Ray Hughes and a group of about 50 students (made up largely of Bethel students – wild, fiery and passionate young people who love the Lord with abandon!), we visited Stonehenge. This was partly to study the history of the site and the area, as part of the students’ studies on UK history, with a particular focus on the history of revival within our nation.
We had spoken about releasing the presence of God at Stonehenge through our worship, intercession and confessions, and so when we arrived at Stonehenge we looked for a good place to worship. I co-led the worship and intercession time, by playing one of my favourite djembes and I was accompanied by a talented guitarist and a number of singers and dancers.
As we worshipped, and the rhythm of the drum mixed with the exuberant sounds of singing and powerful guitar chords being played, and many of the team from Bethel danced before the Lord with banners and streamers, we could feel the presence of God being powerfully released. As we looked around us MANY people were stopping to look, taking photos and videos of us and some were approaching members of the team to ask questions.
After a while, people who were standing watching were being prayed for and were visibly experiencing God’s presence upon them.
Afterwards when I was walking back to the coach I considered what had taken place and the Lord – not for the first time – reminded me that in these “thin places” (locations where the spiritual realm and the natural realm are especially close together), the sounds of intercession and worship to the one true God need to ring out!
God is speaking clearly to His people to become passionate for Him and to worship Him with abandonment and in so doing, be a vibrant witness of His love and power.
Come and join us as we worship God and press in for revival to break out over Wales on the 4th July – see for more details.
Blessings! Steve Lincoln. (Eagle’s Wings Ministries & BURN UK Director)

Appeal – Heart 2 Drum costs
July 7th, 2009Dear Friends - Thank you for your continued support for Psalm Drummers and the shared vision to further the gospel of Jesus Christ through the gifts He has given us.
Can you help?
The Heart to Drum event we hosted in 2007 was a great success on very many levels. It was the largest gathering of Christian drummers and percussionist ever known in the history of England. We received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from it, including testimony of changed lives.
We were however left carrying a shortfall from its costs amounting to £2800.
We had hoped to produce a DVD (for sale) of the event featuring Tommy Aldridge, Zoro and our other profiled guests. Sadly the audio recording was too poor and we could not use it. These DVD sales held the potential to bring the event into profit.
The organizing team and Psalm Drummer’s central office made no profit from the event – indeed many people gave volunteer time and resources to make A Heart to Drum the success it was. A good friend of Psalm Drummers has carried the debt now for nearly two years and we would very much like to pay them back. We would ideally like to settle the amount before the end of August 2009.
If you, your group, or church can make a donation toward this shortfall we would be most grateful. One suggestion might be a local fund raising initiative associated to Psalm Drummers? Any amount will be gratefully received.
Once again, thank you.
Kind regards ~ Terl Bryant (Psalm Drummer’s Founder)
To support using bank transfer please email us at admin@psalmdrummers.org and we will send you the bank details by return, or send a cheque payable to ‘Psalm Drummers’ to Psalm Drummers, PO Box 61 Hassocks, West Sussex BN6 0BD, UK. Please write ‘Heart to Drum’ on the back.
